We warmly invite you to join us for a rejuvenating Yoga Detox Retreat at Ananda Gaorii! This transformative weekend is a precious opportunity to cleanse your body, calm your mind, and uplift your spirit in the serene surroundings of our ashram.
Guided by experienced facilitators, this retreat is a perfect blend of relaxation, reflection, and renewal. Whether you’re an experienced yogi, a past visitor to Ananda Gaorii, or completely new to our community, this is your chance to reconnect with yourself, learn practical tools for wellness, and share the journey with like-minded souls.

VENUE:
Nestled on 13 hectares of farmland just an hour away from Copenhagen, you’ll find Ananda Gaorii Ashram – a peaceful oasis for those seeking a rejuvenating escape. Our serene retreat boasts a range of amenities, including a small orchard, vegetable garden, organic bakery, sauna, meditation hall, dining hall, and more.
ACCOMMODATION:
At Ananda Gaorii Ashram, we offer separate dormitories for both men and women. These spacious rooms can comfortably accommodate up to 10 people. Alternatively, if you prefer to be closer to nature, you’re also welcome to camp on our beautiful grounds.
CUISINE:
Our cuisine follows a yogic vegetarian diet, based on foods that are not only beneficial for the body but also calming for the mind. Tea and light snacks are available at different times during the day. The yogic diet excludes seafood/fish, eggs, onion, garlic, and mushrooms, as these foods are believed to be disturbing to the mind during meditation.

Day 1: Arrival & Grounding

- Introductions, overview of the retreat, and setting intentions.

- A calming session to unwind and prepare for the evening.
6:00 PM – 7:30 PM: Kiirtan, Meditation, & Spiritual Talk
- Immerse yourself in devotion, mindfulness, and insights into spiritual detox.
7:30 PM: Dinner
- Enjoy a nourishing juice blend to kick off your detox journey.
8:30 PM – 9:15 PM: Sound Healing Session
- Relax and unwind with vibrational sound therapy to release tension.
Day 2: Detox in Full Swing

8:15 AM: Breaking the Fast
- Water, lemon, and salt to flush the system from the toxins
10 AM: Fresh Juice for Breakfast
10.30 AM – 11:30AM: Spiritual Detox Lecture
- Enjoy a talk on detoxing for spiritual clarity.
12 AM – 1:00 PM: Daily Circle: Final Sharing & Reflection
- Celebrate your achievements, share insights, and set intentions for life after the retreat.

- Juice fasting will be supervised by experienced facilitators.
- All workshops and activities are optional, allowing participants to tailor their experience.

FACILITATORS:

Dada Krsnasevananda
Dada Krsnasevananda is a lifelong monk and highly experienced meditation teacher, with a deep understanding of both physical and spiritual detoxification. As the Program Coordinator at Ananda Gaorii Ashram in Denmark, Dada has spent decades guiding individuals on their journey towards holistic health, training volunteers, and hosting retreat participants. His teachings are rooted in the integration of yoga, meditation, and a healthy lifestyle, which are essential components of the Yoga Detox Retreat.
Having personally undergone detox practices, Dada will share his wisdom and experience in lectures on spiritual detox, showing how meditation and mindful living can purify not only the body but also the mind and spirit. Through guided meditations, experiential exercises, and insightful discussions, Dada will help you let go of limiting beliefs and discover a deeper sense of well-being, clarity, and purpose.
Drawing from his experience in both the East and West, Dada presents ancient wisdom in a way that resonates with modern minds. His teachings offer a transformative path to physical renewal, mental clarity, and spiritual growth, making him an invaluable guide throughout this restorative retreat.

Guilherme Gaorinath Reinehr is a Naturopathy student with a deep interest in Environmental Health and Air Quality Management. With five years of hands-on experience in detoxing, Reinehr is passionate about exploring the connection between detoxification and human potential. His approach integrates scientific insights and practical methods to support holistic well-being.
Frida Breaum Olsen is a multifaceted facilitator, artist, and educator with a passion for guiding transformative experiences in creativity, mindfulness, and nature connection. Certified in Creative Process Facilitation from Bloom Institute and a professional yoga and meditation teacher, she integrates her expertise to create immersive and healing practices. Frida holds a 50-hour Restorative Yoga YTT and a certification in Yogalærer fra hjertet – Hatha & Vinyasa, deepening her approach to mindful movement and relaxation. With eight years of experience in education and facilitation, she designs programs that foster deep self-awareness, empowerment, and a profound connection to nature—enhancing the retreat experience through creativity, movement, and mindfulness.


Anastasia is a dedicated pedagogue, holistic well-being educator, and multiform therapist committed to supporting personal growth through an integrated approach. As a certified advanced yoga teacher and integrative medicine practitioner, she weaves together diverse modalities—including yoga and mindfulness, expressive arts, Ayurveda, Chinese medicine, psychosomatics, and bioenergetic practices—to guide individuals toward balance and self-regulation. With extensive experience as a group facilitator, Anastasia cultivates a nurturing retreat environment, offering a unique blend of multisensory experiences that promote deep healing, transformation, and holistic well-being.

PLEASE BRING THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:
A fitted bed sheet, a duvet (comforter) cover, a pillow case, a bath towel, toiletries, comfortable warm loose-fitting clothing, indoor slippers, warm socks and warm clothes for outdoor activities. *A pillow and duvet (comforter) will be provided. A set of sheets and a towel can be provided for the cost of 50DKK.
HOW TO GET TO THE RETREAT:
Buy a ticket from Copenhagen Central Station to “Vig”, change in “Holbæk”. You have an option to take two buses; “560 and 566” to Ananda Gaorii. If you come by car, use your navigation to: Holbækvej 56, 4560 Vig.*Please note: If you arrive too late in Vig to catch the bus, please call or message us 30 minutes before you are due to arrive at Vig station. We can arrange for someone to pick you up.

COVID PRECAUTIONS:
Depending on your location and circumstances, there may be varying testing requirements. However, if you are feeling sick, please take precautions by staying home and following local health guidelines. Thank you for your cooperation.
CANCELLATION REFUND POLICY:
• 100% refund if cancelled two weeks prior to the retreat.
• 80% refund if cancelled more than one week prior to the retreat.
• 50% refund if cancelled less than one week prior to the retreat.
